Great junior session on rules & etiquette followed by some short game challenges led by Andy Place this evening. Great to see so many juniors out there enjoying the evening sun! ☀️ ⛳️

Some good visualisation work with Harry this evening. Picking a different pace for each breaking putt and setting the intention on what start line is necessary. ⛳️

Nice bit of prep on course with @GaryMilneGolf for upcoming events today with @DevonGolf U14’s. Bonus points for missing in the right spots with approach play. The firmer ground is starting to make short-sided misses a real problem. Next session at Torquay on SAM Putt Lab.

Going through:. •Specifics of a good quality pre shot.•Start line & change of grip due to pull bias.•Visualisation & a drill on pace control & how it affects start line on holable short-range putts in particular. Still lots to work & improve on but great work Harry Cann!⛳️🚀

The main focus was putting with drills on a short straight putts, breaking putts with a big emphasis on pace control, and a ghost hole lag putt ladder with a 10% of the length of the putt ratio/cushion or better (30ft = 3ft or less). Great session with a great group of lads!⛳️.

Great session today with the @DevonGolf Development Squad at Woodbury with @SteveWhitePro. Great to get on the golf course to play 9 holes of foursomes matchplay and work through the traffic light system on pin locations, key shots into certain greens and avoiding short siding.

Great session on putting with the @DevonGolf U14’s today @woodburypark01 with @GaryMilneGolf. Worked through the 4 key skills you need to be a great putter:. 1. Quality routine.2. Excellent green reading.3. Consistent end-over-over start line.4. Excellent pace control

3. Final-section: on this putt for the last 4ft there was only 0.25• of slope which meant it straightened up towards the end. The importance of breaking this down will help you with the next step of visualising how the putt is going to fall into the hole!.
