I’m not justifying his crimes, he’s responsible for what he did. But he wasn’t born evil, isn’t incapable of showing humanity and could have been a good person if endeavor made the right choices to put out his fire that Endeavor himself lit up.

Lowkey endeavor fans want to portray Toya as this evil incarnation just to pretend there was nothing endeavor could have done to prevent his fate. While the story obviously disagrees and makes it clear it could have been prevented and Shoto himself sympathizes with Toya.
