Precisely this. It's the new front in modern transfers, getting control of Romano and co and using them to push your club's agenda.
Good reminder as you watch any transfer circus unfold that nobody actually has any idea what's really going on. What information does get reported is purely PR from either the clubs or the player. If it's out there, it's because that benefits one of the parties involved.

The KD era was probably the most miserable era I've experienced since maybe the late 90s/early 2000s. Tuned out and watched far fewer games in the last 1.5 seasons than in a long while. Glad it's over. Book as the sole primary option should make things a bit more fun again.

I remember when Danny Cadamarteri broke through at Everton in '96ish as a 17 year old so this makes me feel incredibly old.

2024/25 in the books and I finished 28k in @OfficialFPL. Given there's now 11.5m players, it represents my best finish (top 0.25%), better than the 24k (0.46%) in 2017/18 and the 57k (0.52%) in 2023/24. Even finished ahead of THE Fabio Borges. Shouts to @LiveFPLnet and @FFH_HQ.
Been playing FPL since 2010/11 (and other variants long before that) but never had as good a season as this, especially considering there's now over 6m (!) players. Currently ranked inside the top 10k at 8651 and on course to better my best ever finish of 24k in 17/18.
