Writing about Habits, Self-Improvement & Perspective. Helping men improve their lives. On the Self-Mastery path since 2022.
Joined July 2024
I’m almost 4 years into self-improvement. And I’ve failed a lot. • Gym • Habits • Businesses And I still fail a lot. But I look at it differently now. It’s no longer a reason to quit. But a crucial piece to keep going. These are the best lessons from my fck ups: 🧵👇

Lust destroys more potential than failure ever will. It's the hardest enemy to fight. I cannot count the times I've lost to it. It has the power to can years of work within seconds. Gaining control over is crucial for success. Because the temptations will grow over time.

Optimism has changed my life. I used to pity myself. I always saw harm where benefit was. Until one day it clicked: Life is merely a perspective. Focus on the great and your life becomes great. A loss turns into a lesson. And a challenge turns into an opportunity.

It finally happened. I signed up for the gym. Before, I used to train at home. And of course, I didn't really stick to it. I was tired of slipping. Now, I'm locking in. 4 times a week, 1 hour each. This is my commitment to a better self.

That gap. Between who I am and who I could be. It's haunting me in my dreams. A blessing and curse at the same time. It pushes me further. But sometimes, it's hard to bear. That's the point of it. It sorts those out who are not made for the journey. Keep going.

Do it or die trying. That's my mentality. But I'm way too alone with that. Normal people always try to hold their "balance". What they actually need is more extremity. • more focus • more imbalance • more commitment That's the only way you build something worthwhile.

It doesn't matter if you are the most beautiful blue if their favorite color is red.

You have the choice. Either settle for an okay life. Not happy, but also not miserable. Or take your chance and go after your dreams. This might seem risky. But if you just don't quit, you simply cannot lose.

I hate to break it to you, but your opinion is not reality. Most people think they got it all figured out. But they're actually afraid of being wrong. They forget something. That life is all about improving oneself. And you can only improve if you're ready to be wrong.

My gf just said something to me and it blew my mind: "Everything is a win when the goal is experience."

All of us can do the theory. • the mindset • the research • the visualization Execution is the part most people fail at.

A few days ago, I cracked the one-year mark with my gf. We exchanged gifts, went for a walk, and ate out. All the clichés, but it was absolutely beautiful. I'm sorry to disappoint you, there is no lesson here. Just a big thank you to my love♥️

There is no right time. There is just time and what you do with it.

Do you know that feeling? That feeling of uncertainty whether it's all worth it? Well, I do. More than I'd like to. But I've found 3 answers to reassure myself it is. • The reward at the end. • The person I'll become. • What else is there to do? Hardships fade. Success

I used to rush through life. Chasing better moments. Then I realized: Life is short. I better enjoy the time I got. Even the moments full of hardship and discomfort. Every second is a gift. When this clicked, my whole life changed.

Pain is inevitable. The question is, will you let it define or refine you?

My life. My fault. That's the mantra I live by. Responsibility isn't a burden but a blessing. It means I have the power to change. The power to control. • Who I am • What I do • Who I become It's all on me.

Imagine this: Your pen runs out of ink, so you throw it away. Do you complain about it? No. It clearly no longer serves you. It stopped doing what it's supposed to do. Your past is no different. If it no longer serves you, let it go.

Such thing as a perfect moment doesn't exist. The one right now is perfect enough.
