Remembering in 2022 when I politely pushed back on the Southern Arc hypothesis, and suggested Harvard didn't have proper evidence of the alleged sub-Caucasian source of PIE and that they had ignored Sredny Stog. Then loads of brown people said I was "coping" or "crashing out".

Fun fact: one of the only words Anglo-Saxons took from the Britons was drȳ or ‘wizard’, from the Brittonic for a druid.

It’s so cool how many Germanic tribes were named after weapons. The Saxons were called ‘the Knives’ (Seaxan), and the Franks were called ‘the Javelins’ (Francan). A mysterious tribe mentioned in one of the earliest English poems was called ‘the Sword Men’ (Sweordweras).

@Tom_Rowsell @RupertLowe10 A good chunk of those who identify as having no religion are in fact pagan-leaning rather than atheist.

@RupertLowe10 The median age of Christians in England and Wales is 51. More than half of natives in Britain have no religion. It’s not clear how Christianity can be revived or whether the electorate want it to be. What they want is for foreigners to be deported

“Yamna nomads often destroyed or damaged Eneolithic anthropomorphic stelae, reusing them in their ritual practices. This pattern of appropriation probably stemmed from the proselytism of a new ‘Steppe-originated religion’ propagated by steppe-derived peoples, such as those today
