I am glad to share our latest article on the global genetic diversity of planktonic foraminifera: https://t.co/AqhVOYudjw. We have put together all genetic data produced over the last 3 decades to show the true extent of the biological diversity of planktonic forams.

Interesting details on how Sam Epstein secured funding from an anti-smog industrial consortium to kickstart Dave Keeling’s CO2 work.
In 1954 (!) the fossil fuel industry sponsored climate science, and scientists documented the potential problems of increasing CO2 from burning fossil fuels. by @rebecca_John1 @DeSmog

Roughly a 1 Sv decline in the 32 Sv passing through Florida Strait. Is it AMOC or the gyre?

Holy cow this Colorado team is good. Hunter is superhuman.
Colorado came in as a 20 point underdog but beat TCU 45-42. Shedeur Sanders set a school record with 510 passing yards and 4 TDS. Travis Hunter played 125+ snaps in 100-degree heat, finishing with an INT (as a DB) and 11 catches for 119 yards (as a WR). The Deion Effect 🤯
