Work the terms "feasible" and "flexible" into your presentations. They help to lower sales resistance. #salestips

Test Everything! We don’t have the power to predetermine what the marketplace wants: The best price, package, or approach. Rather, we have the obligation and the power to put every aspect of our offering to a vote by the only people whose ballots count: customers. #salestips

Avoid habits that reinforce self-doubt such as asking yourself what you did wrong. Instead ask what you did right & keep doing it. You got out of bed this morning. You dressed professionally. You communicated with clients. You do a ton of things right every day. Remember that!

We all face contradictions on a daily basis whether it's a traffic jam making us take a detour or a client meeting that gets postponed. How well we survive is dependent upon our resilience and adaptability to the situations we encounter. #salestips #salestraining #success

To increase performance, live by these words: I must do the most productive thing possible at every given moment. There will be times when those words point out a bit of laziness. There will be times when the most productive thing is to just think. #salestips #salesadvice

To become more successful, seek out those who are already more successful than you. Invite them to lunch at a decent restaurant. Ask them about the most important lessons they learned. Oh, and be ready to take notes. #SalesTips #salestraining

Working on your listening skills is more important than ever! Much of what we "read" into conversations is through body language. When we can't see our buyers in person, listening skills become more critical than ever. #salestips #SalesTraining

In sales, your level of conviction about the benefits of your product directly affects your level of success. If you don't believe in your product, none of your buyers will either. #salestips #SalesTraining

Talk about solving problems for buyers instead of talking about yourself. They need to hear you can help them before they consider your credentials, not the other way around. #salestips #SalesTraining

In sales, the person asking the questions is in control of the conversation. Great salespeople ask questions to get their buyers talking about what they want and need.

The word no is a fork in the road, not a stop sign. In many cases it means, "not that product" meaning they've realized a need for something different--ask more questions to determine if you can still help them. #salestips #SalesTraining

Master the jargon of the person you’re communicating with. If you work with doctors, learn some basic medical terms. If teachers are your target market, do research on curriculum and lesson plans. Be able to create analogies specific to each person’s understanding of language.

Jargon can quickly lead to misunderstanding. An important premise in the world of communication—especially in sales—is that a confused mind always says “no.” How much jargon are you using with clients?

The "language of sales" is primarily used to educate others about the value of our ideas, concepts, products or services, and then to generate decisions on the part of others. Get fluent in that language!

When salespeople talk too much, they turn the buyer's focus on them instead of the product; they struggle to think ahead and guide the conversation. #salestips #SalesTraining
