The only negative for me about Raducanu's astonishing win, is that it has eclipsed the other phenomenal achievements of other Brits at this #USOpen Joe Salisbury won both the Mens and Mixed doubles! Reid and Hewett completed the Wheelchair Men's doubles Grand Slam! All amazing!

Emma Raducanuβs parents are Romanian and Chinese, she herself was born in Canada but she still proudly identifies as British- sheβs just won the US Open. Remember this, being British can comprise a real mix. Itβs why we must be an open and welcoming country.
