May is #PreservationMonth! DAR supports historic preservation. Today we share a project of the Paul Revere Chapter. In 1824, Lafayette visited Old North Church and admired this bust of George Washington—calling it the finest likenesses of the first president he had ever seen.

General William Lenoir Chapter in TN has been hard at work! After receiving a DAR Historic Preservation Grant, members restored 2 obelisk markers, repaired broken stones, and uncovered 14 unmarked graves & 15 buried footstones to restore and preserve the Lenoir Family Cemetery!
