❄️ The new Meet, Chat, Learn Term is now live for booking ❄️. Our fully funded classes and sessions take place at various NE locations and bring together families who have been on either the Neonatal Unit (Ward 35) or Transitional Care at the RVI πŸ‘‡.

The group is supported by Tiny Lives and a light lunch is provided, children of all ages are welcome, no matter how long ago their sibling(s) was on the unit.

Thank you so everyone who came along to our latest Sibling Support Group at Northern Stage this November. Our Siblings Support Group is an informal, supportive group where families who have spent time on Ward 35 with their baby or babies who have sadly died can meet.

These experiences are common in people who are stressed or are experiencing traumatic events and include things such as seeing upsetting images or hearing or feeling other things that those around you cannot (these are sometime called hallucinations).

The purpose of this study is to explore the nature of any unusual sensory experiences parents remember having while they had a baby/babies receiving care on a special care baby unit or neonatal intensive care unit (e.g., what were the experiences like? When did they happen?).

Dr CaΓ­triona Collins (Clinical Psychologist) and Dr Nicholas Embleton (Consultant Neonatal Paediatrician) are conducting a study looking at 'Unusual Experiences' on the unit and are looking for participants to take part.
