Third grade students in STEM class used the Tinkercad program to create three dimensional objects that were printed using our 3D printers. They turned out great!

Already planning ahead for the Jeep diorama. Just like the Unimog ( https://t.co/eH8sN4SBUK) I've got my @tinkercad terrain and made a simple maquette of the chassis to get level indents for the wheels.

Tonight's stream was a blast. Made some EXCELLENT new designs in @tinkercad to go with my toy monster trucks. This camper was tonight's project. Should easily print as a single piece and fit nicely on the truck I designed it for.

Can 4th graders @NISDMcDermott redesign a dog's prosthetic leg? Yes! For our culminating 3D printing project, students evaluated the example prosthetic's structure, suggested improvements, then redesigned it in @tinkercad to boost function and 3D design skills! @NISDSTEMLabs

Here's an Action Camera-style M5 knob drawn in @tinkercad with surprisingly few steps and shapes, utilising the new sketch rotate tool. https://t.co/10WdXrKrwm

Challenge: Can you model it? An exercise in modelling and printing an existing product from sight. I used @tinkercad. In my version, I have left the grub screw holes open for tapping. https://t.co/a7ANbSLhQW

Thankyou @josefprusa for putting the cad files on @printablescom . I wanted to take my diamond plate pattern and make magnetic trim panels for my Core One and was easier to do than measuring everything myself and with @tinkercad I was able to place them to see the final look.

@tinkercad Here's a quick timelapse of the printer doing its thing. It didn't fail, it didn't collapse, and there was little vibration or stringing evident in the finished print. The complex shape was done in @tinkercad's new sketch tool and the curve was applied with the Intersect method

@tinkercad A traditional Celtic knot pattern drawn in the @tinkercad Sketch Shape. This is easier to print than my brooch, being flat and bi-layer. It would make a good drinks coaster or hanging decoration. Ungroup and see how I did it: https://t.co/ewx3aECJYy
