Poor Cranberry lost his mate. We found Mash (female) dragged away from their roost and eaten during the night. All that was left was an empty body cavity and feet, completely cleaned. Any ideas what would leave something so clean in such a short time period? Raccoon? Mink?

Night 1 in the field was a success!. The #chickens are SO happy in the field; running around, chasing bugs, & finally have explored the compost pile! Atlas is working on learning to not play with them, but is such a good boi, even let the chickens pick mosquitos off his back 😂
