My thoughts and prayers are with Officer Gabriel Facio’s family, friends, community, and entire Apache Junction Police Department. He was a true hero who ran towards the danger and made the ultimate sacrifice.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of one of Apache Junction Police Department’s own, Officer Gabriel Facio. Officer Facio passed away from injuries received in the line of duty that occurred on June 2, 2025.
