Thanks to all who joined Senator Fazio and me at Greenwich Town Hall to discuss HB 8002. Your input gave us ideas on how we can amend and improve this ill-conceived legislation  - and move towards true affordable housing solutions for all.

Remembering this "day which will live in infamy" when America was attacked and entered WWII. Thank you to all who sacrificed their lives that day and throughout the war to preserve our freedom.

It's officially the holiday season! The Greenwich tree lighting on Friday evening was a wonderful example of why our community is so special. I look forward to seeing you all around the district for the many holiday events to come.

Abilis annual holiday Sip & Shop was as always a big success. Abilis serves over 800 persons with disabilities from all over Fairfield county, from birth through the lifespan. Check out their shop throughout the holiday season and year-round, and thanks for all you do, Abilis!

Turkey Trot 2025 was a great community event as always, raising money for the Greenwich Alliance for Education. As we wrap up Thanksgiving weekend, thank you again for entrusting me to represent you in our state government. I am so grateful. Happy Thanksgiving!

The holiday season kicked off in style on Sunday in Stamford for the annual Thanksgiving Parade. Thanks to all who helped make this citywide event such a huge success!

I was one of the legislature's strongest advocates against the new and unfortunately not "improved" housing bill HB8002. The bill is an attack on local control in a multitude of ways. I have received hundreds of emails from constituents opposing the bill.

Eagle ceremonies are truly moving, with all Eagles in attendance - wherever and whenever their Eagle was earned - coming to the front as they did today in this photo to welcome the newest member. Congratulations Finn!

Congratulations to Finn Sargeant of Troop 35 for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, Scouting's highest honor. It was a pleasure to be there with you today!

Thanks to the leaders for all you do to bring the incomparable Scouting experience to the kids, their families and our community.

Scouting Troop 35 of Glenville brought the enthusiasm, good food and camaraderie to their annual Pancake Breakfast at Glenville Fire House this morning. It was great to be there with other scouting families and my own Scout.

The Bill goes to the Senate tomorrow, and then to the Governor. Please reach out to the Governor and let him know the new Bill is NOT improved and request his veto. We need to continue the fight for CT's 169 municipalities.

HOUSING BILL PASSED THE HOUSE. The debate went on for over 6 hours as the minority fought for local control. I opposed the Bill in the strongest possible terms and voted NO. Unfortunately, the new housing bill passed, largely along party lines.

The majority has released the 99-page "revised" housing bill. The Bill contains many of the most onerous provisions of HB 5002 and has not had the input from stakeholders or the public which was promised. The Bill will be called on Wednesday during Special Session.

Stamford celebrated veterans today with the annual parade and award ceremony. Thank you veterans and your families for all the sacrifices you have made to ensure that our democracy continues.

SEEK (Special Education Equity for Kids) CT held their annual conference. Thank you for inviting me to speak about the Special Education Reform Bill (HB 5001) with my colleagues from across the aisle. I look forward to continuing to work on this important topic.
