The other day Andrea Strohmayr asked me if I knew any good events around 'our' topics of #agile, #newwork, #teal and all that. Not an easy question indeed, because there are so many things going on. Anyway, here are some that I collected and/or we shared in the team LIVEsciences

I am not so sure if I am always on the left side. I certainly have been perceived as arrogant or rude. Probably not lazy so much ;-) What are your thoughts on this list here below by Jim Rohn? #leadership #teal #transformation #timeforchange #futureofwork #newwaysofworking

Here's a good example by the @corp_rebels & PANELFISA not only describing the dimensions, but also the process & which questions to ask. Really helpful to keep it simple! The domains to look at, btw are these: -> The process domain -> The coordination domain -> The social domain

I would always try to keep it simple and relatively lean. Nobody benefits from a 100 page culture book or something, but I would argue some stakes in the ground are helpful for conversations. After all this is what you want from these books - a good basis for conversations.

How do I get started about a "constitution"? A question I get asked quite a lot, and just yesterday again...and it's a great question! https://t.co/KYLqegJPqX

Remuneration policy reflects an organization's culture. It’s a calling card for your company. Given current labour shortages, it also determines who wants…

Rather fail and invest in learning cycles to improve quickly. So maybe it's not worth always creating a task force sitting in a war room analysing the failure? 👈😉

In my oppinion it comes down to leadership in being able to accept and maybe even embrace failure. It's an illusion that managers, even the best, take 100% right decision. So why do we act as if our teams should have that 100% hit rate?

How do you cultivate courage to experiment (and perhaps fail) and learn, in your organization? How do you create a space of psychological safety that allows for failure culture?

"For every experiment that succeeds, nearly 10 don’t—and in the eyes of many organizations that emphasize efficiency, predictability, and “winning,” those failures are wasteful."

Just looking at my own transformation and certainly the journey our team is on for self-management, unlearning what we have picked up seems one of the most difficult things! ...also the stuff we picked up in our 30s or 40s that need to be unlearned 😉

And of course there is so many more examples...is it coincidence I came across this post on twitter yesterday after that?

The little one (4 years now) started dancing yesterday where everyone else was sitting and eating, just because there was music that started to play. Why are we ashamed of doing this later on in our lifes? Why would we check before doing so what our social peer group does?

Just yesterday I had a chat w/ my friend and co-founder @FrankEiselt about what my kids go through right now, what kind of consciousness they develop - & how many of these things are great, but somehow 'destroyed' & taken in the completely wrong direction once they enter school.

Team collaboration is a hot topic - not only since the hybrid setups. 😀 A bit proud that my quote made it to this Forbes article! Here's the link:

What is consent-based decision making? In a nutshell, Consent-based decision making is about making fast decisions that are ‘good enough’ for you to move forward, rather than getting everyone to agree on a decision that’s ‘right’ before moving forward. #Consent #DecisionMaking

Time to get going on something tangible for you! Anyone who wants to improve decision making should continue reading. Spoiler: Consensus is not usually 'good decision making' ;-) The magic bullet of decision making, imho, is #ConsentDecisionMaking. Heard about it?
