this is what i keep yapping about zhongchili that non shippers and antis dont get for some reason like it’s not even that complicated😭
i don't think people realize that the ability to care about characters as individual removed from romance plays a huge role on a ship popularity. like, there is more flavour on ships where both charaters don't fully rely on shipping to be popular VS one only discussed as a LI.
