This is one of the weirdest conspiracy theories of the post-Game of Thrones world. I don't like to psychoanalyse people like this, but of all the reasons, this is one of the worst theories. There's so much evidence to say his ending would be vastly different.
Reminder that GRRM isn't "lazy" he is afraid to finish his own work because people didn't like how he ended it.
