One of the best to ever do it. If you were a kid growing up in Canberra wanting to be a sports broadcaster you wanted to try and be like Tim. Made sport so accessible to everyone for a long period of time, and was your eyes when you couldn't watch a game.

I met Tim in 1993 & hounded him about the Raiders straight away. 6 years later he foolishly let me hang around the commentary box. 25 years on I don’t have adequate words to express my gratitude to Tim for the immense support & opportunities he’s given me. A true Canberra Legend.
