Interesting. I don't think fans or artists or music companies would want this done to their IP. If this is true then as a fan I'm glad UMG pulled out.
@TikTokComms
This is really sad - I agree artists need to be compensated but then again this means new artists or independent artists should now focus on just using their own tracks without UMG - Tik Tok has made a lot of people famous with music on the platform that’s huge
@TikTokComms
if you're so artist-first, you should stop muting audio from artist's own music on their account and stop saying "no violations found" when I'm reporting people using slurs.
@TikTokComms
Tiktok this is ridiculous. Ai is dangerous and needs to be controlled yet u literally sit here and promote it to your billions of users daily. Also there are SO many things wrong with your app. Its actually a terrible experience. Like no app makes me more IRATE than this.
@TikTokComms
Now this is a totally unnecessary PR statement. it is full of negativity and a full-fledged attack.
Why can't you say "We are working on an agreement with UMG to solve the situation"?
@TikTokComms
In short, that RN check cleared. The fact that UMG has better artists who’s music controls YOUR platform and you think your doing something 😂
