Has anyone else's work life balance went to hell in a hand basket since the pandemic started or am I just an unorganized being with no concept of time??

My Belgian malinois just got tangled in my chromebook charger, chromebook went flying, router went flying, have no internet til Friday. Teaching from home. Already eating out of gallon container of blue bell ice cream when it happened. Kidney stone forming as I type!

I had a friend recently offer a reframe dropping balance for work life harmony. Bc rarely are things ever balanced, but life CAN be harmonious given all the things going on. Right now life is a minor chord LMAO but we are humming along!

100%. On day two of my three day vacation, I cleaned my Outlook email out today. I went from 2,700 unread emails to zero. So much junk. I turned off a bazillion notifications, hit unsubscribe to prolific emailers, etc. Not exactly vacationing, but it felt great to get that done.

I forget what day it is several times in the same day. Yesterday was my birthday, and by the end of the day I was talking like it was Friday.
