Today we used some of our science lesson to go birdwatching for the @RSPBEngland Schools Big Birdwatch. We spotted some magpies, pigeons and a kite! #scienceatthurnby #birdwatching @ThurnbyMead

During ICT we drew our own avatars and then tried to guess which one belonged to which person. This was very tricky and it helped us understand that you cannot really know who you are talking to online based on someone’s online picture #ictatthurnby #projectevolve @ThurnbyMead

Seasonal food-In DT we have been looking at seasonal food from around the world. We made Japanese fruit skewers with banana, strawberries, lychees & watermelon. All of these fruits are grown in Asia, except for the bananas which are grown in South America. #DSP #DT #Kapowprimary

This morning in the #DSP we have been finding #half of quantities. We made delicious pizza’s, we carefully chopped up the ingredients into pieces then counted these, found half then put this on top of the pizza. @ThurnbyMead #practicallearning #pizza
