I think you’ll see almost all the National TV games go to the Western conference this season. Which means - I’d expect a LOT of early start times for the Thunder this season. They probably take the earlier national TV games which are at 6/6:30 central. Same goes for teams like.

The logic for the Spurs is - just pay Fox while Harper & Castle are on rookie deals?. But I don’t know, I don’t think this was the right player to commit to fit wise. This has a much higher chance to becoming a Lavine type contract situation than actually working out imo.

Fox was really bad last season & I understand you’re hoping he goes back to the 2023ish level but at best that’s what a top-25 player?. Would not be comfortable paying that much especially with those guard prospects.

I think the minutes without another ball handlers caught up to them in the playoffs. The Shai + full bench lineups weren’t sustainable . This, added in with the fact OKC had some weird starting lineup rotations at times in the playoffs and early sub patterns skew the data. But.
@ThunderFocus every stat has him incredible in he playoffs and he was bitw. but why do you think lineup data is against him? jdub solo lineups or lineups without him are better in high lev situations?.

Last thing, but I don’t think anyone will ever appreciate how insane it is to be leading a +17 team for an entire season when you’re on the floor. That speaks volumes to a players adaptability and style being *generationally* well. It’s no coincidence it’s really just been Shai,.
I feel like this is how some people evaluate Shai vs Luka. “Well they’re about equal scorers, Luka’s a way better playmaker and I prefer that over better defense”. When the truth is that Shai vs Luka is a discussion of complete polar opposite approaches & flow to the game & one.

It’s crazy, but I think Shai’s scoring is still the most underrated part of his game because people don’t value the way he gets his buckets. Players like him, Kawhi & Kobe being able to score in flow of the offense & give your team a steady floor against any coverage is a lot.
