Spurs have completed the signings of Perisic and Forster, nearly Bissouma too and very likely Djed Spence. Man City have signed Haaland and Alvarez. Liverpool have signed Núñez and Carvalho. Manchester United are considering, looking, hoping, searching, wake up @ManUtd.

@StatmanDave He might have been a bad manager (despite conditions being tough), but I could never question his talent ID.

Thank you, @skysports_sheth. You spoke very reasonably about the Rasmus Højlund signing, I wish more people did so.

Amad Diallo is of the Bernardo Silva mould. Can play RW well but feel he’s most effective as an interior (right sided #8/10). Keeps the ball really close to his feet and only releases when the pass is right, takes well calculated risks only. Intricacy around the final 3rd.

Diogo Costa saved a penalty, it was retaken and he’s saved another one- @ManUtd please wake up and sign this GK. Distribution is sound, very dominant, commands his box well, saves so many penalties. Bring him to La Theatre please.

@UtdFaithfuls He’s right. Unfortunately under the previous regime these players were told they were the best thing since sliced bread. Lots of them think they’re better than they are, many haven’t won anything in their career. If you don’t want to listen to the best, move on.

@pgaskell13 I have. Dalot helps our ball progression massively on the right hand side. He’s a better passer, crosser, first touch is better. He isn’t world class but he’s just a better footballer than AWB. Defensively AWB tackles better but his positioning is poor.

When are we going to give Diogo Dalot huge credit for his 1 vs 1 defending? He’s dealt with Saka (playing at LB I might add) as well as Mitoma in the last two games. Yes, he’s struggled with wingers in the past, however I think he’s massively improved in this aspect of defending.

@fuadyabz23 “Such a good defender” only excels at one part of defending and is actually very average at the rest.

I’m no huge fan of Harry Maguire but the witch-hunt against him has got to an absolutely unbelievable level now — I’ve never seen this type of constant criticism and mockery in my life. I wanted Maguire to leave in the summer, and I still want him to leave — unfortunately in the
