This morning in Gdansk we were awoken at 4:47 am with bells ringing at a nearby church. It lasted nearly 10 full minutes - quite bothersome. But then I learned that Sept 1st 4:47am is when the first shots of WW2 were fired - as Germany invaded Gdansk. Quick perspective change!!
