This feels like a nightmare. One of the most horrific things I’ve ever seen. I feel absolutely gutted and devastated. Pray for Charlie Kirk’s soul, his young family and for our country. The violence and hatred has to stop. Our country needs Christ now more than ever.

"I got that white girl." This is a hate crime. ❌Bring back the death penalty ❌End cashless bail ❌Impeach all these judges who release these violent thugs back out on to the street

It seems the terrible news in America will continue for some time. This is very distressing.

Her name was Iryna Zarutska. She could’ve grown up to be a beautiful mother, but her life was taken at 23 by a monster driven by antiwhite racism. Silence is violence. Speak out and speak up against antiwhite violence.

Gonet believed that the Calvinists had abandoned the harsh views of Calvin and Beza on grace and free will and had embraced the true Thomistic position.

“If only they [i.e., the Calvinists] would shrink back from the doctrine of Calvin in other controversies of faith, they would not be far from the kingdom of God.” - Jean-Baptiste Gonet, O.P. (1616–1681)

One thing that always makes me sad is that Gonet never wrote a philosophy course. Had he done so, it might have been the clearest Thomistic philosophy course ever. Alas!

If you find yourself confused when reading Thomists of high stature because they assume the reader already knows what they're talking about, you should read Jean-Baptiste Gonet, who unfolds the questions with remarkable clarity, helpful notes and useful distinctions.
