@Thomisticae At worst I predict the document will say some polygamists can receive sacraments in ambiguous circumstances to be determined by one's pastor (similar to Amoris Laetitia). And it will justify this by saying that culpability for what are objectively mortal sins can be diminished

I don't think anyone would doubt that it will be a terrible document given the illiterate people at DDF led by Fernandez. But will he add 🏳️🌈 stuff to it as well? Only one way to find out!

The new DDF document by the Vatican on the Blessed Virgin Mary is pure nonsense and lacks any sense of theological synthesis. I can’t cope or try to give nuanced interpretations to these utterly ridiculous statements that keep coming out one after another anymore.

Side note: Jesus Christ is the only Saviour of mankind. No one who believes in the doctrine of Mary Co-Redemptrix and defends this title would ever relativise this in the slightest. But what about those who say, e.g, "All religions are willed by God"?

Got back from the military just to find the DDF at war with tradition again, this time over the Blessed Virgin Mary. St. Pius X foresaw it all: Modernism advances quietly. They get rid of things slowly until everyone gets used to it. One “pastoral nuance” at a time.

@BreeSolstad I suspect it will be a subtle downgrade of Marian mediation disguised in ambiguous terms. Mary is an obstacle to the modernist agenda given the history of her apparitions and veneration.
