That's great, but Superman wasn't meant to be a Christ figure. He was a Moses allegory.
Calling Cavill’s #Superman 'poorly written' completely misses the point. Zack Snyder didn’t give us a cartoonish boy scout—he gave us a deep, conflicted, god-like figure struggling with his place in the world. That’s not poor writing, that’s bold storytelling.
