My handsome laddie is always popular here, so here he is above Balquhidder with a lovely view of Loch Voil behind him. The vantage point is Creag an Tuirc (the boar’s rock) - it was the rallying place of Clan MacLaren.

(ad) Had an incredible dog friendly stay in Perthshire recently at @Murrayshall - such a lovely hotel, location and team. Fantastic for humans too. Loved every second of our time there - especially the champagne afternoon tea, which was absolute heaven. 🥂🍾 🍰

For context. The Old Fox was the last person in Britain to be executed by beheading. He was about to lose his head when a viewing platform collapsed. Fraser found it hilarious seeing the people watching his execution get hurt. They say he laughed his head off. Quite literally.

Here’s a wee video I put together about a Jacobite chief, a Highland crypt and a headless stranger buried in a lead casket. Only in Scotland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚔️

Just spent a fun 48hrs on Luing. A lovely wee island off Scotland’s west coast. Our home there was a fab sea view suite at Wild Luing. It was a perfect break - we enjoyed coastal walks, wildlife watching, skimming stones, eating delicious local produce and best of all - relaxing.

How about another Scottish hill? Here’s Casper aka The Wee White Dug on the summit of Creag Choinnich in Aberdeenshire. Another small hill with an epic summit view. That’s Braemar below and beyond the mountains of the Cairngorms National Park. #scotland

Here’s another of my boy on a bonnie Scottish hill. This is Dun I (pronounced E not I). It’s the highest point on the Isle of Iona and only takes 15 mins to climb for incredible views. There’s a spring of eternal youth near the summit too, so it’s worth the climb. 🤪 #scotland

Let’s stick with my wee dug Casper in the Scottish hills to brighten Monday morning. Here he is up Sròn a'Chlachain which is climbed from Killin. The loch is Loch Tay. The hill is a wee belter. At 510m it’s far from a Munro, but the view from the summit is incredible. #scotland

Since yesterday hill shot of my handsome boy went down so well. Here’s another from my favourite small hills in Scotland series. This one’s a wee belter and I’m not taking about Casper. It’s Ben Hogh on the lovely Hebridean Isle of Coll. Views for miles and turquoise sea. 🌊🩵

Been looking at some old hill photos for a Facebook/Instagram post and love this one of my boy Casper aka the Wee White Dug at the summit of Clachnaben in Aberdeenshire. A great wee hilli in a beautiful part of the country. He looks so windswept and interesting here. #Scotland

Amazing stay at Newmore Highland Pods near Invergordon. Lovely owners & spacious, comfortable, well-equipped pods in a fab location. Loads to see and do on the doorstep. We’ve enjoyed scenic walks, sea swims, history galore, good food and a rare (for us) spot of retail therapy.

Missing carefree, sunny beach days like this one spent at Calgary Bay on the Isle of Mull. Thankfully I’ll be back on the island again in a few months. 🌊🏄‍♂️🏊🏻‍♀️🩵.#Scotland

Fab end to another stay on the wonderful Isle of Mull. Ben More - the island’s only Munro (mountains over 3,000ft) bagged. It was a great day for it, so we got some pretty phenomenal view from the summit taking in Mull, Ulva, Iona and beyond. ⛰️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Port na Ba, Isle of Mull. The name means beach of the cattle. It’s where cattle being transported from the Small Isles (visible in the distance) landed as they made their way to market in Perthshire. One of the loveliest places I’ve swam in Scotland. 🏊🏼🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
