This lasted way less time than I expected. But with how weak the Midnight reveal was alongside how shallow and shortform the game's seasons are, I bounced off retail very quickly. I could see myself returning for a week or two to check out Legion Remix?

Why am I more excited for the Runescape 3 Leagues reveal than I am for the new WoW expansion? . I don't even play RS3.

Don't need to point out the irony of this next expansion supposedly being about "the bonds that hold us together," in a game called. The World of Warcraft. Not say this game hasn't been written like a My Little Pony episode for the past 6 years.

I'm willing to fork out an extra 15$ a month if the next WoW expansion cinematic has something -- ANYTHING -- happen. Like, at all. Anything. Outside of people just saying one-liners and swinging swords.

The One Button Rotation is everything wrong with Blizzard's philosophy when designing WoW. It's rare to see something so antithetical to onboarding, and so disconnected from the best elements of the game.

ARPG Shrines, world tiers, talent trees, and more are all systems being essentially ported into WoW in this game mode. I wonder how fun the base game could be if it wasn't restricted by its competitive approach.

I mentioned the fact that WoW has been an ARPG without interesting loot (since Legion/BFA), and in many ways, the "remix" modes give Blizzard a chance to actually explore power fantasy as they would otherwise in an actual ARPG that's not obsessed with competitive gameplay.
