In the archive files at Imagineering, they have a map of Knott’s Berry Farm from designer Harper Goff’s December 1952 research visit, as part of the planning for Disneyland. And I think about it way more often than I should.

I still can’t get over the fact they themed the test car to have dazzle camouflage like automakers do when testing new models. It’s such a perfect car nerd detail. 👌
Aside from that spot on the hill, looks like it’s business as usual because the car has made its way to the bunny hop. At this amazing pace, this clearance test should be done in a week or two for Hollywood Drift! 🙌😍

The reason Iger Corp. closed Muppet*Vision 3D just to do a slapdash overlay on Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster is to replace Jim Henson’s Muppets with /Disney’s/ Muppets. If you’ve watched both the original show & the streaming series, you know how much a gulf exists between those two.

The toxicity from “Disney fans” to Cody in the replies on this are why I’m so over the company. Disney fans =\= theme park fans, and that’s never been clearer.
It truly breaks my heart, but after 30+ years of cherished memories, Walt Disney World is no longer for my family. We will begin spending time elsewhere.
