The number of times I yell "FU @joshuagates" while watching #expeditionunknown increases exponentially with my jealousy. Not only does he visit these amazing places, get exclusive solo access, have crazy adventures, but he's living my archeological dream.

We had to say goodbye to our beloved Sug yesterday after 22 years. We are devastated 💔

Our last day in Hawaii, the last official day of our #tripofalifetime was spent walking around Waikiki, picking up last minute items & soaking up the sun. In the end, we did 3 countries, 6 islands, 9 planes, 9 boats & 1 helicopter. Thanks for coming along for the adventure!

Day 1 & 2 in Samoa 🌺 We left Fiji & hopped on a flight to Samoa, where we headed to Le Vasa Resort. In a fale, we have the best view of the dock & small beach, where the fish jump out of the water. We swam in the cool waters, explored the grounds & had massages on our deck.

Day 5 in Fiji 🌺 Our last day at Barefoot Manta, we tried to do coral planting but went swimming with Manta Rays (again) instead. Then the 3hr ferry to Nadi to buy cannibal forks & wooden weapons & settle in at Club Fiji with a Mongolian BBQ for dinner. Tomorrow, off to Samoa!

Day 4 in Fiji 🌺 we awoke early again to see the sunrise & again after breakfast we heard the Manta drum. Such beautiful creatures! After lunch we snorkelled with some of the most beautiful coral we had ever seen. Later we dedicated a small tree to my late dad (the 9th to date).

Day 3 in Fiji, after a quick breakfast, we snorkelled with Manta Rays, It was fantastic. Later, we went for another snorkel, gorgeous corals & many fish. Followed by a hike to a high lookout point, where we saw walking fish. #Fiji #barefootmanta

Day two in Fiji 🌺 we woke up early to watch the sunrise on the beach, did multiple snorkel trips, saw a reef shark, sting ray, all kinds of fish & the healthiest coral we've ever seen. We found some bug friends in our room and ended with dinner al fresco. Bula!

Day four in #Hawaii, our last before we move onto #Fiji. We took a trolly tour up the coast, went for a walk along the beach, and visited the Waikiki Acqarium, then ended the day with a sunset dinner at Hau Tree Restaurant. Yum. Goodbye Oahu (for now)

Day three in #Hawaii & we woke up before the sun, to get to Diamondhead National Park, to hike to the top of the volcano. With breaks in between, it took 1hr to climb the trail, but it was worth it to see the pill box bunkers and the view with the golden sunrise.

Day two in #Hawaii began with an amazing helicopter ride around the island of #Oahu. A much smaller helicopter than we envisioned, but doors off like we planned. It was a beautiful and smooth ride. After some sun, and food, we walked around #Waikiki (alot).

Day one in #Hawaii was a lot of walking, with lots of food, beach, sun, trees, drinks and cats. Oh and a monk seal for good measure.

A #monkseal decided to visit our beach near @kaimanahotel today. Some panicked, but most just kept their distance and let him go about his business. He swam a few laps then left, it was amazing. #Hawaii #oahu
