I have been experimenting with Tanstack-Query and I honestly wish I had started with it. It is so clean. In order for me to go back and retrofit my app with it at this point is such a large undertaking that I don't think I want to do it any time soon. .

The things I hate:.> No robust data fetching system (like tan-stack).> Insanely large API base and small amount of maintainers (grateful to the ones we have).> The custom typing system (I wish I just worked with Typescript directly).

The things I love:.> Views & actions tree-like structure and ease of understanding. Truly a wonderful DX.> References (when they work) make linking your data to other sources extremely clean.

I have been using Mobx-State-Tree for my app for about a year now. Here are all the things I love and hate about it.

I even implemented a retry mechanism to fetch the oEmbed API and sometimes it works on the 2nd attempt, sometimes all 3 attempts fail, sometimes it works on the first.
