Watching the Saints/Essendon game (and based on what we’ve seen in a lot of the praccy games to date), I’m not liking the adjudication of downfield free kicks… Anyone else think the threshold of prohibited contact as (or after) a player kicks the ball is way too low?

Bloke has been potting Walsh, the contract, his fitness etc for days… Ever worked with a guy who never sees his team lose? You’ll go in on Monday after a round of footy and ask about the game, but it just so happens the opinionated idiot can’t comment because he didn’t see it?

Satisfied with tonight’s hit out. Lots of positives from an individual player perspective, but it was most pleasing to see better transition on both sides of the ball and better defensive rigidity without needing to flood. Thoughts?
