You’re missing the point, the tournaments they held are against other freestylers, not brand new players. Smurfing is and always has been wrong, regardless of if that’s “how we have to do it to get our clips”!

Yeah you can. Everyone has MMR, You get 9/10 MMR per win/loss. The average player is over 1200. He claimed he’s GC2 which means his casual MMR should sit around 1500+

It’s not just one freestyler, as we saw last time we had this debacle. It was the entire freestyle community (aside from Comp clippers) that stoops to this low of a level. It’s normalized by those in positions of influence, it’s wrong.

Bad take. The biggest points I made that led to this are these. Casual has MMR whether we like it or not, he intentionally lowered his so low that the people he clipped against aren’t any better than lowest difficulty AI, and it’s harmful for new players to experience such skill.

It’s hard to imagine 16 & 17 yo kids griefing customs. When I was 16 I had a passion for video games and I constantly played to get better. It’s sad to see kids who realize they’ve hit their peak and their dogshit so they grief other people trying to get better. We go again 😔
