For our new @The_IEYC unit, "The Brilliant Bug Ball," we went on an exciting adventure to our garden. Armed with our clipboards, search sheet, pencils & magnifying glasses, we were ready to discover some minibeasts! We found ants, spiders, butterflies, and mosquitoes! 🦋🕷🐜🐛🐞

We made worms by decorating a tissue, rolling it around a pencil & squeezing it into a concertina shape. Adding water made them grow right before our eyes! This activity was linked to our @The_IEYC unit & provided a fun way to explore the science behind water absorption in paper

Our @The_IEYC "Blast Off!" Exit Point was such an exciting adventure. We helped fix the Moonbeams' spaceship, took it on a test flight to the moon, walked around like astronauts before flying back and sending our alien friends back home! Thanks for visiting us, Moonbeams! 🚀🌌👽

To demonstrate our creativity, we chose our favourite planet and tried to recreate it, thinking about the colours and textures/patterns we could see. We then selected the tools we thought best to make our planet - marble painting, crayon rubbing, or paper collages! @The_IEYC

We soared into an intergalactic adventure with our @The_IEYC "Blast Off!" Entry Point! Flashing lights, an unusual object in the sky & a loud "crash" led us on a quest where we discovered a spaceship! Our Moonbeam friends have arrived & we are ready for some cosmic fun with them!

Our Preschoolers kicked off their new @The_IEYC topic "Blast Off!" by creating a star backdrop for the artwork they'll be creating! They had the best time using paint brushes to flick paint over the paper. Needless to say, I was head to toe in "stars" too! @HIS_Preschool
