I've been trying to be more positive on the series, but MAN am I relieved this isn't the case. FF13 being the favorite FF of the developers that are taking the reins was almost more than I could bare. - Spencer
Apparently, there was a mistranslation! The statement was many people grew up playing FF13 (by virtue of being younger), not that it was their favorite FF. ...That's much better news as far as I'm concerned... 😭

lol, Well, I think FF13 at least tried punch in the vaguely right direction, more so than the mainline titles that came after it in retrospect. I think the games built on the good of XIII (XIII-2, LR's combat, and 7R series) have all been really fun experiences.
