The APL stressed that horticulture and landscaping must be included in the government’s definitions of green jobs and skills to inspire future generations. The government needs to recognise the value of the sector’s career opportunities, from early curriculum and apprenticeships.

During the last day of the WorldSkills UK competition, the government’s skills minister, Baroness Angela Smith, visited the final to learn more about the competition, why landscaping skills are essential, and the benefits for the young people taking part 🌱
