I am so honored that I was considered, let alone given, a GA Melee lifetime achievement award. I really almost cried. GA Melee means so much to me. Really my second family. So happy to be a part of it. Here’s to another lifetime of Melee in Georgia with the family ☺️

Last thing I’ll add: we have enough genuine opps out there literally praying for our downfall and want us dead. I think it’s in our best interest treating the people in our community that choose to stick around despite all that chaos with more patience and respect.

And sometimes we disagree on “what’s best for Melee” but we should have the humility to leave space for other ideas as long as we still can choose how we engage with this game. I have Smashboards posts older than OGKid begging TOs to ban Pokemon Stadium yet I still persist.

Sometimes shit happens and sometimes it is indeed that bad and should be called out. But especially in Melee so often we’re working with people just like us that love the game and did their time at locals. They are earnestly trying to build something better like the rest of us.

As long as she doesn’t give me a reason to doubt otherwise I would just trust and truthfully she could handle herself. I rarely had to step in. At the end of the day she was the one coming back home with me and sleeping with me, compliments put her in a better mood for us lol

My first serious relationship was with a dummy hot girl (worked at a Hooters type place, for context). For all my other insecurities, I fkn loved it when people complimented or hit on her (respectfully). She deserved it and I felt more powerful for bagging a bad bitch.

Almost forgot: at Buffalo airport I checked a bag with Delta. Dude at the counter checks my ticket and ID and asks “is it Alex or Alexander?” I clarify “Alexander” and he goes “why you got two names here?” Funny, so I reply “idk you’ll have to ask Alex” and bro was NOT amused.

Made it onto a plane. Funnily enough ended being an intimate feeling weekend with the smaller turnout and vibes of going to see Niagara Falls. Shoutouts to the upstate legends Avie and Quinn for hanging out and giving me a ride after my flight got cancelled. ❤️ Melee
