Some people start their weeks on Sunday. I start mine on Monday, so as I sharpen up my pencil for a busy week, I sharpen up my eating habits, too. Let`s get sharp together! Love, Richard 13/13

You then blame all of that on the injury that could have been taken care of a long time ago. Please look down today, and don`t fall on a box of Raisinets or anything else for that matter! And if you find some change, it`s MINE! 😉 12/13

He may tell you nothing, and you will just have to listen to your body. The longer you nurse an injury but don`t heal it, the quicker the urge and need to exercise drifts away. 11/13

Don`t call 100 friends and take a poll. Ice it, and go see the doctor! He may tell you to wear a back brace when you exercise. He may tell you what to stay away from as far as twisting or turning. 10/13

Once you are injured and cannot exercise and feel a little boo-hoo about yourself, eating becomes your exercise. When you have an injury, take care of it right away! Don`t wait. Don`t think you know how to treat it. 9/13

So many of you tell me about your physical ailments. You tell me how you were hurt, how you fell. Just like this lady, you go through all the ways to treat it yourself, then you know what happens. 8/13

She then tried a heating pad, and she spent the rest of the day in a pretty miserable mood. Finally the next day, she called the doctor and went in for an X-ray, only to find out that she had torn her Achilles tendon and would need to have surgery. 7/13

She realized she should skip her dance lesson, put some ice on the foot and ankle and call it a night. The morning did not bring quick, rapid results, and her foot and ankle were quite swollen. 6/13

She limped to the door. Obviously, she couldn`t walk home, so she limped and hailed a cab. When she got home, she undressed and took her shoes and hose off to see the damage. 5/13

She took a few and then a few more. The pain eased up here and there, but by the time she was to stand up from her desk and walk out the door, well, the easiest of tasks seemed impossible. 4/13

Well, the pain sort of throbbed all day long, and she sent her secretary out to by some of those quick, fast-relief formulas so she wouldn`t miss her Rumba and Samba lessons that evening. 3/13

For a moment there, a sharp pain went through her foot and ankle, and she thought, “I`ll never eat raisins again!” It`s strange what you say when you`re angry. 2/13

Sunday, October 11, 1998 So I had a friend who was just walking down the street going to work…the 3 miles she walks every day to get in her exercise … and she tripped on a small Raisinet box. 1/13

It bothers me more when people say nothing, because I think I know what they`re thinking. As I always tell you, always ask yourself what you think. Those are the thoughts that really count! 12/13

Look at it! Study it, if you will, and see if you can find some way in your heart to forgive each person and throw the piece of paper away! Isn`t it strange that we get upset when people say nothing, and we get upset when people speak their minds? 11/13

This is a very dangerous way to live your life! I do hope by the end of the phone call, I have helped in my own way, but it`s YOU and ONLY YOU who can take away the importance of someone`s negative words. 9/13

You can`t wake up every morning and say to yourself, “Well, somebody said this to me, and I can`t get it out of my mind. Most probably this person is right. I`m a big pile of nothing.” 8/13
