Accepted 3 - London, Italy and US. All remote. 1 part time. 2 full time. All in my bread and butter - Brand and Marketing. Worked 9-5 for 18 months, and started my company - Jali. We have about 7 staff now. God has been gracious and kind to me.

Didn’t have a laptop. Couldn’t afford it then. I typed my entire project on my phone in 4 days. Results? Law final year - 4.0 Orange Acad - BGS in strategy Rhetoric course - perfect project score Got 2 foreign job offers in my finals, and about 10 before convocation.

Final year project deadline ( Law ) - Aug 27. Brand School project defense - Aug 29. Final year law exams - Aug 30 Aug 16, PMB signed the PIB into law and changed my project approach. My topic was on deregulation of the downstream sector.

Exhibit 2: 2021. Ran 3 academic programs at the same time. Final year law, Unilag. Got full scholarship to Orange Academy, Lagos. ( Weekends gone). 6 months Rhetoric course ( online) at an Ivy League. While running a startup with 2 staff. This, however isn’t the crazy part:

Jali Group. Few months/weeks from now, all my staff will wake up with $1000 in their bank account as a gift from me. Typing it here before it happens. It will happen. I love this company.

Lol I have so many but I’ll limit them to 3. Exhibit 1: The email I sent that got me an internship into one of Africa’s finest law firms at the time. No interviews. Got a call 3 days later and the HR giggled and said “November or October? When do you want to start?”

3. Lack of Skill: You simply haven’t put in the reps to be skilled. It’s like driving school; you gain mastery of speaking by speaking. Action: List your favorite speakers, watch 3 of their best speeches on YouTube, replicate them and record yourself while doing it.

2. Fear: If you lay overwhelming emphasis on what you need to say and not what people want to hear, you’ll never be shy again. Action: Ask yourself the worst that will happen if you disgrace yourself when speaking. From personal experience, you won’t die. I promise.
