Some people have their head up their own arse. You just gotta carry on doing what you do because at the end of the day they don’t matter, only who you are and what amazing creativity you give to the world is what matters. TT Xx

Bottom line is that it’s fucking hard to ‘make it’. You need talent but most of all, luck. As we’ve seen from many bands such as oasis where it just so happened that McGee was at king tuts on that night (not to say they wouldn’t have been signed afterwards).

I know what the unsigned band community is like on Twitter with so many championing creativity and expression without any form of financial backing or nepotism which is more prevalent than ever.

The use of the term ‘unsigned’ is sometimes thrown around nowadays to undermine what a band is doing, to see someone is unsigned and then proceed to not give them any credit purely on that criteria of being ‘signed’ or ‘unsigned’ is narrow minded and cruel.

As a tiny unsigned band with little following, to hear from someone who is essentially at the top with such power discount everything ‘unsigned’ bands do, is frankly demoralising. To sit and hope to be played on the likes of radioX and BBC is all that bands like us have.
