Storytime pt 6: As a kid, I loved going through maps, drawing them, creating imaginary cities & landscapes. Hence, R’lyeh's creation was a nostalgic exercise for me! As the original drawn without much thought, I went on to rework it, locking down the biomes & grounding the lore.

Story Time pt 5: The idea for Alica came to me while I was brainstorming for a Christmas piece. It was also an excuse for me to draw a girl with short hair and glasses. Maybe I should create her character sheet once I start updating some of the earlier pieces with retconned lore.

Story Time pt 4: For Ashley, I wanted to give her a MILF look. Over time, I’ve also refined her hair design, giving her a straight cut rather than the complicated mess she initially had. Maybe I should touch on the "synthetic tentacle creature" part of her lore sometime soon.

Story Time pt 3: I knew from the start that I wanted to give Elizabeth a sporty look. Other than her hair colour, she has the least changes over the years. TBH, I have no idea why I gave her such a yellowish hair initially. Maybe it has something to do with my colour blindness?

Story time part 2: Kathleen was the first OC that I created for R'yleh series. Initially based her design on Dorothy from the anime Big O (Yes, I am old), I wanted to simplify her hair design further, especially for her side profile, hence the redesign. What do you think?
