Mei Lan is what we would call a silly goose. She inspects her stall each night to make sure the peasants have done a good job cleaning it and that her dinner is acceptable before settling in. Like the queen she is. Mei Lan is a Chinese goose who was dumped in a park and rescued!

Greta adopted Earl when he was rescued after being dumped and picked up by animal control. Today, Greta, Earl, and Ringo love and act as one family…and Greta’s wounds from having her prior babies taken from her are healing. All moms love the same. Keep families together ❤️

☀️🦙Sunbathing llama season is upon us. We are expecting the calls from our neighbors any day now to tell us we have dead animals in our pastures. (Oh yes. That actually happens!) .👌Don’t worry! Our llamas are all in excellent health but just love to lie in the sun!

Broad-breasted turkeys (the kind people eat😔) are incredibly snuggly. They are devoted friends and love interacting with humans. Ethel will follow us around for hugs and actually shoo away any other birds who she thinks might attempt to take away attention from her. 🥰

🏖️Well, Piggy Sue and Piggy Smalls are off to enjoy their summer vacation as woodland faeries. Pigs’ ancestors were native to the forests of Europe and ours love hanging out under trees and exploring all the forest has to offer!

🦙S’mores is getting closer to being part of her new herd! She has spent the last few days in the pasture with the goats, sheep, and llamas, and is much less anxious now that she has decompressed. Watch this space for more updates!!
