Got several looks at Rice in the Florida State League in '21 and '22. Impressive combo of power and discipline. One of the tougher outs in the league for Bradenton arms. Nice to see him get the big call!

A Bee swarm has delayed start of Diamondbacks/Dodgers game. They have formed a colony on netting behind home plate. Obviously foul balls hitting the netting would disturb them. Just My Speculation: A cancellation would not shock me, because it could take hours to resolve

A struggle that any traveling MiLB broadcaster can sympathize with. I can't begin to count the number of times I've walked the shoulder of/Frogger-d across a busy street, tromped through weedy overgrowth, etc. just to grab a sandwich.

My amazing fiancee gifted us tickets to see @Weezer in Philly later this year. Stoked to see them play My Name Is Jonas, as thousands of Philly accents sing along to the "workers are goooin' hooome" line.
