In an insane turn of events it appears as though you cannot, in fact, brute force your way through chronic illness by ignoring it so it’s easier to make dinner because you will actually end up in mass amounts of pain and tears.

Just described my arthritis as me feeling like “a doll where the plastic joints are all swollen and don’t move properly” and my boyfriend just stared at me and went. “yea…cause your joints are swollen and you can’t move properly?” …I may be stupid.
