Absolutely true, been seeing gigs getting pulled due to poor advance sales, been to gigs with hardly anyone at them too. Even played them where less than the promised crowd didn’t show up. Where is the love people. No support for grass roots level music means no future music
I don’t know what the answer is or if anyone agrees or has any counter opinions but to me there seems to be a disconnect between phenomenal online support for indie/upcoming bands and actually supporting with live gigs. I’ve been to two gigs recently, both with incredible
