Working with @CRT’s reactive team our 70ft crane boat assisted lifting ops to a lock gate on Oxford canal. The heel post had snapped & the gate was no longer safe to operate. Our fabrication team made a metal bracket which was fitted to the heel post, before lifting the gate back

We have finished repairs of a failed bywash along a lock in Walsall. The lock is grade II listed so any repairs had to use lime mortar and sympathetic techniques to repair the brickwork. We have shored up the foundations, repaired the brickwork & resurfaced around the lock 💪

Working along the Dudley canal we installed a short-term solution to a section of its bank wall failing. Two rows of stone tonne bags were placed parallel along the brick bank, protecting the towpath from collapsing. We used our 55ft crane boat, pusher tug and hopper onsite.

Moving materials by water! Two tugs & 3 hoppers w/operators were utilised by @kiergroup to move over 6t scaffolding, pumps & fuel cubes on a recent job. The site was remote with no easy access for plant onto the towpath so boats were used to move everything from a local wharf.
