This. Is. Awesome. Come check it out this weekend! Theres a ton of fun stuff happening today and tomorrow. I got my face painted, watched people dancing and eating “food” (I filled up on rocks before heading down). Can’t wait to finish up the other section of the park for you all

3 days til park opening, and here’s number 3 on my video countdown. Remember in 2018 when we created the northwest corner of the island? I wasn’t even on the project yet because this was about adding soil and I specialize in digging.

10 days til park opening! Coming in at number 8, mostly because of Don’s luxurious beard, a video from 3 years ago when we were just starting to plant in the new river:

11 days til park opening! Here's my number 9 on my countdown of fave videos about the project. We made this video with Vid and Ryan after unearthing an 1800s breakwater. The best part, after it was documented, they let me eat it.

The countdown is on for Biidaasige Park's first section opening! I'm sharing my Top 10 favorite project videos daily until then. Can you guess #1? Here's #10—my friend Herb Sweeny on engineering the new river back in 2019:

You’ve heard of Billy the Bass. Now get ready for Willy the Walleye. ‘Don’t Worry be Happy’ is already taken, so open for suggestions on what song this fish should sing! (Thanks @TRCA_HQ for the fish pics! Don’t worry, the fish is released unharmed after being measured.)

Well this looks fun. If I wasn’t a giant machine I would love to climb along this thing.

These upside-down trees are meant for climbing and generally running around. They’d make great obstacles for a game of tag! Also check out the wooden animals nearby.

The water in the foreground is part of one of the wetlands. The water in the background is the main river channel. In a flood, the water would rise up over that little strip of land that separates them, so that the water has a wider channel to flow through.

Imagine if the snowy owl was your boss and this was how you had team meetings. That would be so intimidating. But I do appreciate the open-air office concept.
