The two upsellers were still out in front of my house when my work call was done (which seemed odd), so I went and asked them about the invoice. One of them handed me a business card for a completely non-related service./8

Then a few minutes later I receive an invoice via email for $99 for the tech call! Now I’m wondering why TF would y’all charge me for a mistake that wasn’t mine to begin with?/7

Not FIVE minutes after the tech left, my doorbell rang. Two people from AT&T Mobility were trying to upsell wireless and fiber optic service - not FIVE minutes after the repair. I was on a work call and told them I couldn’t talk. Nor am I interested in other services./6

Repair was made successfully and the ONT was mounted on the wall with proper screws. The tech was polite, efficient and professional and made sure I could connect all my devices before leaving./5

Service tech came this morning and said there weren’t many notes on the reason for the visit. 🤷🏾‍♀️I explained again and tech confirmed that the ONT wasn’t installed correctly, and that drywall screws should have been used./4

In the ~36 hours between that call and the service visit I received several texts from @ATT repeating the “are you sure you need a tech to come out?” refrain, and had to call in again to explain the situation and reconfirm appt./3

I requested a service tech to come out to reattach the ONT correctly. Several times I was told that it looks like my internet service was fixed and asked why I still needed someone to come out. After explaining the ONT box was laying on my floor, I was finally given an appt./2
