UKS2 have had a busy week of Netball, painting for remembrance, anti-bullying week, all our other learning and of course....raising money for Children in Need. Pupils could chose to wear something 'odd' or something spotty (or even both).

It is our aim that all children at Richmond leave as confident, fluent readers who understand the joy of a brilliant book. With that in mind, this year we are working alongside @WSHEnglishHub and @LEADTSHub to achieve the Bronze Lincolnshire Reading Pledge.

In Year 4 we are learning all about the human skeleton. We were challenged to create a structure that would hold a tennis ball, mimicking how our skeleton supports our head. We learnt about broken bones. We pretended we had broken our fingers and learnt how to immobilise them.

Y5 were really grateful for their visit from Mr Green this week. They worked hard on their table tennis skills – some of which were being used for the very first time.
