The Nazi regime codified racial discrimination. The US Constitution, while permitting it, did not codify it. The US eventually codified racial equality — although in practice it isn't there yet. This advancement never COULD have happened in the 3rd Reich. It's a HUGE difference.
The hypocrisy of white folks who are outraged by someone speaking well of Hitler, yet praise the racist “founding fathers” that orchestrated the genocide of indigenous people and enslavement, rape, murder, and dehumanization of Black people, is sickening.

FWIW, I am friends with Kara and her husband Markus, both of whom were targets of Taibbi’s and Ames’ cruelty while they did the work of keeping the eXile afloat. (The full excerpt here makes fun of Kara’s ass.) Trust me, this anecdote was both true and representative.
